A Note From Jen
I’m Jennifer Anderson — lead photographer, Spicy Photo Coach, and founder of Boudoir By J Anderson. I will be your guide through this transformative journey.
For over twenty years, I’ve worked with clients who arrive unsure and leave certain. My approach is calm, professional, and deeply respectful of your unique identity and boundaries. Intimate photography is more than pictures — it’s an intentional experience that invites you to see yourself through a new lens. While I photograph every session personally, I am supported by a professional team of hair and makeup artists and studio management who ensure your experience flows seamlessly from start to finish.
Our goal isn’t to shape you into something else.
It’s to help you witness the confidence, power, and presence you already possess.
The Experience Ahead
At Boudoir By J Anderson, we offer a range of studio experiences — from Classic Boudoir to erotic After Dark portraiture. Each session is tailored to your intention, comfort, and aesthetic direction, and all are conducted with discretion and care.
Here’s how the process unfolds:
1. Private Discovery Call
We begin with a confidential conversation to understand your preferences, comfort levels, and goals for your session. This call ensures alignment and clarity before booking.
2. Preparation Materials
You’ll receive detailed guides and questionnaires to help you plan your wardrobe, mood, and vision. These materials ensure your session is intentional and reflective of your unique style.
3. Experience Day
From your arrival through hair, makeup, wardrobe selection, coaching, and direction, you’re guided with intention. We create images that honor presence, expression, and confidence.
4. Same-Day Image Reveal & Ordering
Following your shoot, you’ll view your images in a private reveal session and finalize the artwork you choose to bring home.

EveryBODY is welcome here — across age, body type, gender identity, orientation, and personal aesthetic. Whether you're exploring Classic Boudoir, After Dark portraiture, couples experiences, or all of the above, your expression is met with professionalism and profound respect.
Guests & Support Persons
To preserve the privacy and focus of your experience, sessions and Image Reveal appointments are conducted one-on-one.
We have found that a private environment allows clients to feel more at ease, fully present, and uninhibited in their expression.
If you require a support person or specific assistance, please let us know in advance so appropriate accommodations can be arranged.
What We Photograph
Classic Boudoir & After Dark Experiences
Boudoir and After Dark exist along a spectrum of expression. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, preparing for a wedding, honoring pregnancy, reconnecting with a partner, or exploring a more expressive aesthetic, your experience is designed intentionally around your comfort level and vision.
During your Discovery Call, we will clarify which experience aligns best. If your experience includes specific themes or elements requiring additional planning or documentation, this will be discussed in advance.

We will walk you through:

✔ What to bring and what to leave behind
✔ How to gather inspiration images
✔ How to define your comfort zones and boundaries
Preparation is designed to reduce anxiety and enhance confidence.
Your Experience Day - What to Expect
Your day with us is purposeful, relaxed, and paced with intention:
• Professional hair and makeup (optional)
• Wardrobe consultation and styling guidance
• Full posing and expression coaching
• Studio environment designed for privacy and comfort
• Directed imagery tailored to your vision and comfort level
We coordinate logistics so you can focus on presence, not performance.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. You are guided fully from hands to expression throughout your session.
Studio Accessibility
Our studio is designed to feel private, comfortable, and accommodating. The space is located on a single ground level and features wide entryways for ease of access. We also work primarily with natural light.
If you require specific accommodations, we are happy to discuss them in advance to ensure your experience feels seamless and fully supported.
What Happens After Your Experience
After your Image Reveal & Ordering Session:
• Artwork is edited and crafted with precision
• Hand-made print and product options are available
• Delivery is arranged directly to you
Investment
Classic Boudoir Experiences begin at $750 and secure your session date and studio time. Images and artwork are selected and purchased separately. A minimum artwork investment of $750 applies.
Most clients invest between $3,000 – $5,000 in their artwork and custom collections.
After Dark, specialty, and multi-partner experiences vary based on complexity and participant count.
Payment Options
Artwork investment is finalized prior to your private Image Reveal & Ordering Session.
For clients who prefer to plan ahead, we offer an in-house pre-payment option that allows you to allocate funds toward your collection prior to your session date. Third-party financing is also available upon request.
Many clients choose to reserve their session several months in advance and arrange payments in a way that feels structured and comfortable for them.
We accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit and debit cards. Additional financing options are available upon request.
Gift cards may be applied toward your investment.
Payment details are reviewed during your Discovery Call.
You Don’t Need a Reason
While some clients choose to mark a milestone — a wedding, anniversary, or celebration — many ultimately discover the experience was never about anyone else.
It was about themselves.
About feeling present in their own body.
About honoring a season of life.
About stepping into something they’ve quietly considered for years.
You do not need an occasion to justify this experience.
You are allowed to choose it simply because you want to.
This is not about proving something to someone else.
It is about seeing yourself with clarity and intention.
Planning & Scheduling
Experience dates are reserved in advance, and availability varies throughout the year. Many clients schedule 4–6 months ahead, while others secure dates sooner depending on availability.
If your Experience is tied to a specific milestone — such as a wedding, anniversary, or birthday — please note that printed artwork may require up to eight weeks for production and delivery. We recommend scheduling accordingly to ensure everything arrives on time.
Reservations may be secured up to 18 months in advance.

Your experience is conducted with discretion and intention.

Every image is personally hand-edited by me. I do not outsource retouching. This ensures consistency, discretion, and complete creative control from capture to final artwork.
For clients selecting expressive or After Dark imagery, we partner with professional print labs experienced in producing intimate and adult artwork with discretion and care.
Will my images be shared publicly?
Never without your written consent.
