This Boudie Call features the Curvy Queen Series within The Body of Work Project.
And it’s your invitation to step in front of the camera and see yourself differently—not because you need to be fixed, but because you deserve to be honored.

For many people, a boudoir session lives quietly on a list of someday dreams—waiting for the right time, the right moment, the right body.
But the truth is this:
You don’t have to wait to celebrate yourself.
We are currently looking for curvy and plus-size women, including trans women and femme-aligned people who feel at home in that language—for an exclusive Boudie Call Experience inside our private studio.
This is more than a photoshoot.
It’s an invitation to step into your power and help us redefine beauty through authentic, unapologetic imagery.
Those chosen will receive a fully waived creative fee (normally $750) for their private boudoir session.
Because this is a Boudie Call, participants agree to allow their images to be used to showcase and promote our featured series and signature sets.
While the $750 creative fee is waived, please note that this experience does require a product investment, as image collections and artwork are purchased separately.

About Boudie Calls
From time to time, the studio releases a limited number of Boudie Calls connected to creative projects and new artistic concepts.
For The Body of Work Project, these model calls allow us to continue documenting and celebrating the diversity of real bodies — the resilience, transformation, and stories they carry.
Participants receive the full boudoir experience while allowing select images to be shared as part of this ongoing body of work.
These sessions help us introduce new sets, explore new visual ideas, and expand the representation of bodies and identities within our portfolio.
Because this work is curated and intentional, Boudie Calls are extremely limited and participation is offered through an application process.
Each selected participant receives the full boudoir experience in our private studio — designed to feel intentional, supportive, and entirely centered on you.
Waived Creative Fee
The standard creative fee of $750 is waived for selected participants.
Private Use of the J Anderson Studio
Exclusive access to our thoughtfully designed studio environment for the day.
Professional Hair Styling, Makeup & Lashes
A personalized transformation by our professional styling team.
Guided Posing & Expression Coaching
No modeling experience is required. Every pose and expression is guided with care and intention.
Access to the Client Wardrobe & Shoe Collection
Choose from over 600 pieces in sizes XS–6XL, including lingerie, accessories, and statement pieces.
Choice of One Featured Set and One Outfit
Additional looks and specialty sets may be added if desired.
Professional Image Retouching
Each image you select for purchase is carefully hand-edited for consistency and quality.
Private Image Reveal & Ordering Session
Shortly after your session, you will view your images and select the artwork you wish to take home.

What Is Included in Your Boudie Call Experience
Who May Apply
The Curvy Queen Boudie Call is created for curvy and plus-size women, including trans women and femme-aligned people who feel at home in that language.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old and out of high school.
You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to know how to pose. You only need a willingness to show up for yourself and be seen exactly as you are.
This is a separate creative opportunity and cannot replace an already scheduled boudoir experience. Current clients are welcome to apply for an additional session.
The Application Process
Participation in a Boudie Call is offered through a curated selection process. Before applying, please review the following requirements.
Age Verification
All participants must be at least 18 years old, out of high school, and willing to provide valid identification for age verification.
Investment in Your Images
While the $750 Creative Fee is waived for selected participants, all Boudie Call experiences require a minimum investment of $1,800. Image collections and artwork are purchased separately, with Creative Collections beginning at $3,900.
Studio Retainer
A $199 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date if selected. This retainer is applied exclusively toward the purchase of a Digital or Creative Collection and cannot be applied to à la carte purchases.
Model Release Agreement
Because the creative fee is waived, participants must be comfortable signing a full model release allowing select images to be shared as part of The Body of Work Project and the studio portfolio. Nudity is never required.

During this 15-minute conversation we will:
• review the details of your experience
• answer any questions you may have
• select your session date
• reserve your spot with the studio retainer
This call ensures that the experience feels aligned and that you arrive fully prepared for your time in the studio.

Terms & Participation Agreement
By submitting an application for a Boudie Call, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Model Release
Selected participants are required to sign a full model release allowing select images to be used for studio marketing, portfolio display, and promotional materials. Participation in a Boudie Call is contingent upon this agreement.
Studio Retainer & Artwork Investment
A $199 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date if selected. This retainer is applied exclusively toward the purchase of a Digital or Creative Collection and cannot be applied to à la carte purchases. Collections begin at $3900.
Application Process
To maintain a fair and respectful selection process, we ask that applicants refrain from contacting the studio regarding the status of their application.
Travel & Personal Expenses
Participants are responsible for any travel, lodging, or other personal expenses associated with attending their session. J Anderson Studios is located in Mesa, AZ.
Communication
All communication regarding your application and session will be sent via email. Applicants are responsible for monitoring their inbox, including spam or junk folders, for any correspondence from the studio.
Session Scheduling
Boudie Call sessions are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or gifted to another person. Selected participants must schedule and complete their session on an available Friday in 2026.
Acceptance Window
If selected, participants must respond to their acceptance email within 72 hours to secure their session. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in the opportunity being offered to another applicant.
Missed Sessions
Failure to attend a scheduled session may result in forfeiture of the opportunity and retainer.
Sales Policy
All artwork purchases, upgrades, and orders are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued.
